Wendt's Marine has proudly maintained its family-owned legacy since its founding in 1964 by Fritz and Cynthia Wendt. Initially, the business was a collaborative effort involving their children, Doug and Donna. In 1982, Donna's husband Larry Klein became an integral part of the team, forming a trio of leadership that shaped the future of the company. In 2007, the next generation took the reins as Scott Klein, Donna and Larry’s youngest son, assumed ownership, ensuring that the family values instilled by his predecessors endured.

Today, Wendt's Marine continues to thrive under the guidance of multiple generations of the Wendt family. Scott's siblings, Steve and Sheri, contribute their expertise in the office. While Sheri's children, Vickie and Brody, lend their support throughout the marina. This enduring commitment to family values, coupled with a dedication to exceptional customer service, has made Wendt's Marine a trusted name in the community for decades.
